Getting Started
Garmoth Bot is a powerful Discord bot designed to enhance your Black Desert Online gaming experience. To get started, invite the bot to your server by clicking the link below:
Once the bot has been added to your server, you can start using its commands right away. The bot uses Discord's slash command system, so all commands start with a forward slash (/).
Golden Pig Cave Tracker
The Garmoth Bot includes a powerful tracking system for the Golden Pig Cave in Black Desert Online. This feature allows server administrators to set up automatic notifications when the cave opens, helping your community never miss this valuable opportunity.
Note: Cave tracking commands can only be used by server administrators or users with the "Manage Server" permission.
Setup Commands
/cave setup {REGION}
Initializes the cave tracker for your server in the specified region.
/cave setup {REGION}This command will set up the tracker for the a region and use the channel for notifications.
/cave notify {ROLE}
Sets a Discord role that will be mentioned/pinged when the cave opens. This helps ensure interested members are notified.
/cave notify {ROLE}This will configure the bot to ping everyone with the example @cave-hunters role when the cave opens.
/cave remove
Disables the cave tracker functionality in your server and removes all related settings.
/cave removeUse this command if you want to completely disable the cave tracking feature.

Usage For Members
Once the cave tracker has been set up by an administrator, server members can use these commands:
/cave status
Checks the current status of the Golden Pig Cave (open or closed).
/cave report [STATUS]
Allows members to report the current status of the cave. Replace [STATUS] with either "open" or "closed".
/cave report openBest Practice: Create a dedicated role (e.g., "Cave Hunters") that members can opt into if they want to receive notifications about the Golden Pig Cave. This ensures only interested members are pinged.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues
Bot doesn't respond to commands
Ensure the bot has proper permissions in your server and in the specific channel you're using it. The bot needs "Send Messages", "Read Message History", and "Use Application Commands" permissions at minimum.
Notifications aren't being sent
Check that the role you're trying to notify can be mentioned by the bot. Also verify the bot has the "Mention Everyone, Here, and All Roles" permission.
Setup command doesn't work
Only server administrators or users with the "Manage Server" permission can use setup commands. Also make sure you're specifying a valid region.
