Introduction
The Eyes of Adventure Chapter 5 is a treasure hunt for 100 chests in total
- The knowledge that you must complete is Dokkebi Chest I - Dokkebi Chest V
- Each knowledge entry requires 20 chests to be located and interacted with
- The knowledge can be obtained in any order and the route in this guide is optimized
- The chest will have the page number and chest number throughout the guide
The guide will go over the locations of the chests, as long as you follow the same route, you won't have to worry about missing a chest.
To keep things simple, just go chest by chest, eventually all of the knowledge will be completed.
The knowledge can be found under (H) > Adventure Journal > Morning Light Tales > Dokkebi Chest I.
You might not see the knowledge available until you've interacted with at least 1 chest.
There'll be a little bit of sailing at the start, which will mean you need a boat. I always recommend the Epheria Cog from the Loyalties store:
You can register the boat at the Wharf Manager NPC Yooan in Nampo's Moodle Village.
Byukgye Island
The chests on Byukgye Island are all for Page 1. If you've never been to Byukge Island, you can find it close to Nampo's Moodle Village.
We'll be doing Byukge Island first so that we can move to Haemo Island and back to Nampo's Moodle Village without any back tracking.
You'll need a ship to get here, this is the islands location:
Byukgye Island Map
Here is an overall map of the island. You should return to this example when moving on to your next chest to see where they are located.
You can click on our images to view them full size for a better look at the maps.
You can also use the side bar navigation to quickly back and forth between your next chest and the map.
Page 1 Chest 9
This chest is easy to find, its located on the small island as shown on the island map above, you can't miss it.
Page 1 Chest 12
The next closest chest is Chest #12, head to little pier on the east side of the island. Head up the stair way towards the top. You can use the minimap in the image below to help locate the chest.
Page 1 Chest 11
We'll do Chest 11 next, it's hidden below a balcony structure. An easy way to find this is to auto-navigate to Sunho's quest icon.
Page 1 Chest 10
Head further south down the island, you'll come to archway bridge. Jump over the side and the chest is in plain sight.
The minimap might help with this one, but it's pretty hard to miss the bridge.
Page 1 Chest 13
This one is pretty simple, it's not really hidden at all just in another balcony structure. You'll have to take a winding path up some stairs to get here.
Page 1 Chest 14
Head back down the path way from Chest 13 and head west, you'll see a small house with the NPC Hyunmin located there.
Run around the back of the house and grab the chest, again you can use the mini-map if it helps
Page 1 Chest 15
Chest 15 is really easy to find, head to the large structure at the center of the map, then just drop down over the edge.
Haemo Island
Next we'll do Haemo Island, you can sail there quickly from Byukgye Island and once we're done here we can get back on to the mainland.
Sail over to the highlighted circle, there's a chest for Page 3 on the larger island, then we'll move further east to the smaller island where the majority of the chests are.
Haemo Island Map
Here's the example map that you can use for locations while collecting the chests on these islands, refer back to this image for this portion of the guide.
Page 3 Chest 6
This one is real easy, you can sail over here to the docks from Byukgye Island, the chest is right next to the Wharf Manager.
Grab this one first and then you can forget about the larger island and sail over to the smaller one to the left.
Page 1 Chest 16
Sail to the top right of the island and land upon the north east shore. You'll be able to head up on to the island.
Use the minimap on the image below to look for a waterfall, you'll have to jump down to grab the chest.
Once you've got the chest, turn around and jump down the rest of the waterfall, it'll take you back into the ocean.
Page 1 Chest 17
The waterfall will lead you out into the water again, head east and follow the coast of the island until you come to the first land you can stand on.
The chest will be in the water below, you can use the mini-map to help you.
Page 1 Chest 20
Circle around to the eastern shore again to make your way back on to the island. This time you can travel towards the center of the island.
There'll be a little village near the main road than runs through the island, the chest will be tucked away on the porch of one of the houses.
Page 1 Chest 18
Next head further down the island, you can see on the mini-map in the image below where you'll be able to find the cliffside to jump down.
Once you drop down the chest will be in plain sight, this one's really easy to grab.
Page 1 Chest 19
This the last chest on the island, at its most southern point. You'll see an NPC Ayool that you can use for reference, but the chest is just outside the house.
After you're done, sail back to Nampo's Moodle Village, over to Wharf Manager Yooan
Nampo's Moodle Village
Now that you've sailed back to Nampo's Moodle Village, there will be chests from different pages.
The page number is indicated through different coloured text, so use the colour key provided on the map below if you've missed a chest.
However, don't worry about this too much, it's only a feature in case people accidentally miss a chest.
Following the guide step by step without worrying about which chest is which will work just fine.
Page 5 Chest 7
Once you're back on the docks there'll be a chest right near Wharf Manager Yooan for you to grab first.
Page 1 Chest 6
Head to the rock formation east of Nampo's Moodle Village, you don't have to sail there or anything. Climb up the rocks and you'll find the chest sitting there.
Page 1 Chest 4
This chest is up on a mountain top overlooking the docks. Head up the pathway up past and then climb up the rocks.
We'll grab this one that's a little out of the way first then head to the ones closer to the village for less back tracking
Check the minimap on the image below if needed.
Page 1 Chest 5
Next up run back to the Stable Keeper NPC Morong, duck into the stable, the chest is tucked away in the corner.
Page 1 Chest 8
Go back outside the stable and head up the hill to the Library building. You'll see the Bookseller NPC Hanshik standing in front of a building.
Head inside that building and the chest is just inside.
Page 1 Chest 7
For this chest, head over to the bottom left corner of Donghae Office, its up the hill just north-east of the village.
You might want to full size the image below for a better look at the mini map, but the chest is not too hard to find from the bottom left corner of the office.
Page 4 Chest 20
This time move over to the east side of the Donghae Office, you'll find the chest tucked away in some plants on a wall
Page 2 Chest 19
Now we can leave the Donghae office and head over to NPC Shin Taesun, you can find her in a building south of the Shimnidae Forest
Page 3 Chest 20
This chest is hidden in a tiny cave, near the beach. Pay attention to the mini-map, it'll help you finding the cave.
The chest is just tucked away on the left once you find the cave.
Page 3 Chest 18
We'll collect page 3 chest 18 as it's a little out of the way compared to the next few that can be completed closer together.
Head west of the Shimnidae Forest node along the main road, you'll come to a fork in the road. Take the path way that leads up a small hill off the main road.
Once you're up the path you'll see a small cave, just head inside and collect the chest.
Page 1 Chest 3
As you travel along the main road of Shimnidae Forest, you'll see a small fork in the road, the chest will be tucked in a small structure.
Pay attention to the minimap to help with which road you should be on while looking.
Page 5 Chest 19
Head across the bridge shown on the minimap and when you reach the center of the bridge, jump over the side. You should see the chest hugged up near the wall.
Shimnidae Forest
From here we're going to continue up to Shimnidae Forest, we might as well clear off this section of the map first before moving to the east.
This will take place close to the Bamboo Legion Lieutenant Black Shrine icon, and north of that into Hanji County.
Shimnidae Forest Map
Here's the map that you can refer to during this section of the guide, remember you can use the navigation side bar to jump back and forth to map!
Page 2 Chest 4
Use the NPC finder and search for a Stable, you'll be taken to NPC Youngwoo, from there you just need to head up the wooden structure nearby.
Page 1 Chest 2
Move further north, inside Hanji County, you'll see three vendor NPCs. Keep going forward until you come to two watch towers and a gate.
The chest is up in the left watchtower, you'll have to climb up to get it.
Page 1 Chest 1
Use the NPC finder to locate a Skill Instructor, this will take you to NPC Gunwoo. Behind Gunwoo is a wooden platform, jump on to it then turn left.
Follow the path around and you'll come to the chest.
This should complete the Page 1 chests, if you didn't get the completion, you may have missed one.
Page 5 Chest 17
From the location of the last chest, you can see the wooden platform is overlooking a cliffside. Carefully climb down the cliff to the north for the next chest.
If you struggle with colour accessibility and happen to be looking for this chest at sunset, you can use screenshot mode (Ctrl+U) to adjust the weather and time.
This will make the chest stand out more from orange hues more.
You can still move while using this feature, so you'll still be able to look around for the chest if needed.
Page 2 Chest 3
Head back into Hanji County, right at the node icon, you'll find an NPC Dowan. Move past his house and into a small wooden tower.
Look at the mini-map below to get a better idea of where to go if needed.
Page 3 Chest 17
Now you can leave Hanji County and travel north, you'll come up to a fork in the road, take the left and head up the hill.
As you move further up the hill you'll see a dirt path not marked on the mini-map next to a rock, this will lead to the cave entrance.
The chest is just inside the small cave, can't miss it.
Page 5 Chest 16
Back track to the fork road once again, this time head up to the left. Keep heading up the path until you come across a distinctive stone bridge.
The bridge will be travelling over a waterfall, there will a large rock parting the waterfall, the chest is located on top of it.
Page 5 Chest 8
Next track back to the stone bridge and this time cross over it, follow the path until you come to a cliff, the chest will be hidden underneathe the raised structure.
Page 3 Chest 1
This time head all the way back down the hill to the fork road again. This time take the right path up to the waterfall shrine.
The chest is around the center of the waterfall, you might have to swim around for a little while to find it.
Page 4 Chest 12
Exit the shrine area and head back the way you came, you'll see a bridge of rocks that can be crossed over the waterfall.
Once you're on the otherside, carefully make your way further down the cliffside, eventually you'll see the chest out in the open.
Page 4 Chest 15
Navigate your way along the rocks near the waterfall, you'll eventually come to a rock with several trees on it, the chest can be located there.
Page 2 Chest 2
Carefully follow the cliff back down south, towards the location of this chest (check the map for reference)
Once you find the main road again you'll find yourself in Solgaji Forest, head over to the nearby bamboo bridge cross over it.
Jump down the rocks and you'll find the chest below the bridge, you'll be able to climb back up the rocks no problem.
Page 3 Chest 19
Climb back up and cross back over the bamboo bridge, there'll be a small cave with the chest inside.
You can see on the mini-map on the image below the route to take from the bamboo bridge to find the cave. The chest is the only thing in the cave, you can't miss it.
Solgaji Forest
After you've got the chest come back out of the cave. Now we're going to head towards NPC Park Jangswe.
Hug the wall of the cliff and make your way around and down, it's not difficult or anything, it'll just a shortcut to the next area Solgaji Forest.
Solgaji Forest Map
The next section of chests will all be inside the Solgaji Forest, remember you can click on the image to get a better look at the map.
Refer to this map when needing to locate your next chest.
Page 2 Chest 20
This chest is located near the Woodcutter NPC Park Jangswe, you can see on the mini-map the route I took down to the cave.
Page 5 Chest 18
Next up is a chest on the riverbank, it can be found close to the potter NPC Jangho, move a little east of the Potter towards the riverbank and you'll see the small dock.
Page 2 Chest 1
This chest is just south of the Solgaji Forest node map marker, tucked away in the last building closest to the dock.
You can use the mini-map for a more precise location.
Page 4 Chest 14
Continue on a little down the beach, you'll come to a cave entrance, it's really easy to find.
Head inside the cave and look behind NPC Old Lady Hwajung to find the chest.
Page 4 Chest 19
You can find this one further south, on a cliffside that overlooks a lighthouse, it's in a pretty clear location so you should be fine finding this one.
Page 2 Chest 18
Use the NPC Finder to find the nearest Stable which will take you to the nearby NPC Young-goo head north of the stable to find a small house.
The chest will be close to a stockpile of jars.
Page 2 Chest 16
Next up you'll have to visit the Cheongsan Institute. Head up the stairs to the main building entrance. You'll see two sets of stairs leading to a balcony.
Head up those stairs and the chest will be facing the entrance to the Institute.
Page 2 Chest 17
Next will take us out of the Cheongsan Institute up some stairs to a bunch of NPCs sitting around.
They're located just underneath NPC Cheongsan Head Scholar Haejoon.
Page 4 Chest 18
Go up the stairs by the NPCs and move past Cheongsan Head Scholar Haejoon you'll see a cliff that overlooks a waterfall.
The waterfall will be split by a large rock in the center, jump over to it. When you look down you'll see the chest on a rock below.
Page 5 Chest 12
The next chest will be inside a cave, here's where to find the entrance. Pay attention to the mini-map to help you find the location.
Head inside, eventually you'll come across NPC Cavekkebi, take a left at the fork in the road here.
You'll come across a small pool of water in the cave, here's where to find the chest:
Page 3 Chest 5
The next is chest is up high on the peak of the cliffside, the easiest way to find this is to just follow along the cliff until you see the clear, highest point.
Dokkebi Forest
Now that we're done with Solgaji Forest, we'll head up towards Dokkebi Forest, it's nearby and the chests are in a smaller, condensed area compared to the other zones.
Dokkebi Forest Map
Here's the map you can use to locate the chests initial location, like with previous areas:
Page 2 Chest 10
It may seem like Page 3 Chest 2 is the obvious starting point, but its actually in a cave that we'll eventually track through, so instead we'll start with Page 2 Chest 10.
Look for the fork in the road, then you'll be able to use the minimap on the image below to find out the location, this one is pretty easy to find!
Page 2 Chest 12
Head back down the main road and right by the river we're going to jump. This chest is made a lot easier to grab by flying.
It works with a Lahn, Woosa or Drakania for classes with flight. You can also use an Arduanatt or a horse with Double Jump to make things easier.
Here's a close up on exactly where you want to land so you can set your location point.
Here's what the chest location looks like so you can know what to look for when flying:
Page 3 Chest 2
If you're looking for this chest on the main road this one will seem confusing. The chest is actually below the main road tucked away in Dokkebi Cave.
Set a way point to the main road and manually head towards that direction while remaining in the cave.
At the back of the room in the cave there is Dokkebi altars, you'll be able to see a gap like in the image below.
Once you jump through the gap you'll see the chest, it's the only thing in there.
Page 2 Chest 9
This one is right near the Node Manager Tombkebi, you can't miss it!
Page 2 Chest 8
You can track to the Dokkebi Princess or General Goods Merchant Slowkkebi for this location.
Once you're there, head through the waterfall behind Dokkebi Princess and you'll see the chest.
Page 3 Chest 3
At the entrance or exit to the cave you'll see a body of water right near a hill. The chest can be a little difficult to see at night.
Here's another angle to help find it, pay attention to the mini map.
Page 2 Chest 11
Drop down from the last chest, into the small pool of water below. You'll see a small waterfall leading further into the cave.
Drop down the waterfall and head deeper into the cave, you'll soon be able to see a small Dokkebi altar where you'll find the chest.
Page 3 Chest 4
Turn around slightly from the last chest, this chest will be close by, tucked away in some bushes, this will complete the Dokkebi Forest section.
Now you'll be able to head out of the cave directly behind you, this will lead towards our next location.
Golden Pig Cave
Leave the cave and head up near the Duoksini black shrine location, next we'll move on to the next set of chests that span across the eastern side of the island.
Golden Pig Cave Map
Page 2 Chest 13
Look for the three roads that form a triangle, you'll be able to find a hut that stores the chest.
Page 2 Chest 14
Head further south and you'll come across a balcony looking out over the cliff, the chest is just hidden in the bushes nearby.
Page 5 Chest 10
Head down the cliff behind the Pavilion, the cliffside is pretty easy to jump down so you should have no issues.
Take a look at the minimap to get a better idea of where the chest is located.
Page 2 Chest 15
Move over to the NPC Dohoon and you'll be able to see the chest in the area like in the image below, it's not hard to find.
Page 4 Chest 11
Head down the cliffside just South of Dohoon, you'll see a larger drop with a large boar statue further down the cliffside, the chest shouldn't be too hard to see.
Page 5 Chest 13
Next up you'll wanna head down the rest of the cliff towards the boar statue. Once you're there, head further left to the guard outpost tower.
This is not the tower right by the boar statue, theres one further in, the chest is tucked away beside the tower.
Page 5 Chest 14
Next up its even further south, move along the beach until you see Imoogi Cave, here's the entrance.
The chest is just inside the cave, you can't miss it.
Page 5 Chest 11
For this chest travel up to Drybranch Village, the chest is hidden behind a hut near the General Goods NPC Doyoung
Page 5 Chest 6
This one is easy enough, just climb on to the island and then head to the center peak of the island. Don't worry you won't need a boat to reach this island.
Page 4 Chest 13
Next up is the next small island, swim over to it then head to the north beach. You'll see a cave with the box sitting inside of it.
Nopsae Byeot County
The next area is around the Nopsae Byeot County, we're not too far from the end now, just two maps left to go.
Move back to the mainland from the last island, you can follow the coastal road up towards the next chest.
Nopsae Byeot County Map
Here's the map you can jump to like with the other sections to give you the locations of the chests:
Page 4 Chest 17
Head up the cliffside up towards Yeowoo Pass, inside a small cave will be a fox statue and to the right of it you'll find the chest.
Use the minimap to help determine the location of the cave.
Page 4 Chest 16
Head up to Yeowoo Pass, you'll be able to see a large archway close to some barricades. The cave will lead to a large clearing with another fox statue.
The chest will be hidden behind the fox statue.
Page 3 Chest 12
You can find this next chest on a rock formation just below Dalbeol Village, it'll be easy to find but if you have any trouble you can use the mini-map in the image below
Page 3 Chest 11
Head South West from the previous chest towards a large tree, you'll be able to find the chest tucked away close to the rocks.
Page 3 Chest 13
Next up, travel to Dalbeol Village. There's a waterfall to the east of the village and the chest is sitting at the top of it.
Page 4 Chest 3
Travel north of Dalbeol Village, eventually you'll come to a fork in the road. Use the minimap in the image below to find the entrance to a cave.
The chest will be inside of the opening.
Page 4 Chest 2
Next up is the river down near Nopsae Byeot County, just to the west of the river is a small cave entrance with the chest inside.
Page 3 Chest 8
The next chest is a quick one, just head over the river along the rocks and you'll find the next chest.
Page 5 Chest 15
Next we'll move towards the county from the otherside, this way we don't have to backtrack, move over to the island and at its peak will be a pavillion.
Page 2 Chest 5
Next head over to the coastline, the chest is tucked away in a hut just to the elft of Fish Vendor Mister Turt.
Page 3 Chest 14
This chest will be sat on a rock over looking a small pond within the village, if you need help with the location, try using the minimap on the image below:
Page 2 Chest 6
This is another one in the village, head over to NPC Miss Myo (You can use the NPC finder to locate her) the chest will be by the citrus tree in the right corner.
Page 5 Chest 20
Next up, use the NPC locator to find the Skill Instructor Soryung, the chest will be out in a pink flower patch just outside of the building.
Use the minimap to see the route to take from the Skill Instructor to the chest.
Page 2 Chest 7
This chest will complete the Page 2 chests. Just north of the flower patch we just got a chest in is a little building near Bookseller NPC Samshik.
Page 3 Chest 16
Head north from the village and you'll come across a castle wall. You'll need to fall down on to the castle wall from the cliffs behind it to land on the place where the chest is held.
Bari Forest
This is the last stretch of Chapter 5, these will be finishing off the last of the knowledge, this will finish the tour of the island.
Bari Map
Like always, you can use this map for each new chest location. By the end of this section you should have all knowledge collected.
Page 5 Chest 5
This one is easy, just head towards the Songakshi shrine, you'll see the chest up against this statue on the main road.
Page 3 Chest 15
Head deeper in towards the Songakshi shrine, you'll see a traditional house like building, climb up the rocks behind the house and the chest will be on top.
Page 4 Chest 5
You'll come to a fork road when looking for the next set of chests, head right to grab the first chest. Pay attention to the minimap as it will lead you to the small opening.
Page 4 Chest 1
On the opposite side of the forked road, this time take a left, you'll be able to head to another cave for this chest.
Page 5 Chest 3
You'll be used to these by now, but head down the rocks near the waterfall and you'll find the chest in the open.
Page 5 Chest 4
On the other cliffside there's another chest, you'll have to climb down the rocks near the waterfall again to reach it.
Page 5 Chest 2
Move over to Beombawi Gate node, on the nearby cliffside is the chest, you can use the minimap to help locate it.
Page 3 Chest 7
Leave the Beombawi Gate and on the other side of the river is another cliffside. Pay attention to the distance to the river to help you find the chest.
Page 5 Chest 1
For this chest you should be able to use the Blacksmith option in the NPC locator to find Blacksmith Bukryung.
Head a little further up towards NPC Ahong to find the chest.
Page 3 Chest 10
For the next chest, you'll have to head into a cave to head deeper into the mountain, the entrance is massive so its not difficult to find.
Once in the cave, just head inside towards the body of water, you can use the minimap on the image below to help.
Page 4 Chest 9
Just off a road is a dirt path that leads up to a small cave, inside is a camp where you'll find the chest.
Page 4 Chest 8
Head outside of the cave and move up the mountain, head all the way to the peak of the cliff. You'll find the chest at the top of the rocks.
Page 4 Chest 7
Next up, the chest is further south, you can find it in another cave, use the minimap to help locate the cave's location.
Page 4 Chest 4
Next up you'll be able to find the next chest just north of Sangoon, once again you can use the minimap to help find the location of a small cave.
Page 4 Chest 6
The next chest isn't too far from the last location, head over the river and use the minimap to help locate yet another cave.
Page 4 Chest 10
You can path to the Sangoon boss shrine to find the next chest, in the far back of the room is a pillar with the chest sat besides it.
Page 3 Chest 9
For the next chest you can find Huntkkebi NPC on the map as a good starting point, the chest is just up the rocks nearby.
Using the minimap you can see the route to take from Huntkkebi.
Page 5 Chest 9
Head just east of Sangoon on the map, you'll come to a shrine at the end of the road. Just behind the shrine will be some rocks.
Jump up on to the rocks and head along the left side of the rocks.
Volume 6
So now that you've completed the 100 chests required for Volume 5, you're probably wondering what's next. Don't worry. It's more chests.
Except this time it's a lot less, only 1 a page, thankfully.
Volume 6 Chest 1
As there's less chests this time around, there's no need for a map, but the first place we'll be heading to is close by to the last chest of Volume 5.
Here's where to find the chest, it's perched up on a really high point of mountain, as you can see in the image below:
The minimap might help with this one, pay attention to the main road to help find your way.
Volume 6 Chest 2
Another one that's not too far away, this time it's over near Bari Forest.
This one is real easy to find, its just along the shore line, you can tell where to find it by the minimap
Volume 6 Chest 3
Next it's back over to Shimnidae Forest, if you're wondering why we didn't just grab these while we were around these areas, it's because you can't interact with them until finishing Volume 5.
Cross over the bamboo bridge from Dokkebi Forest to Shimnidae Forest and head north along the cliff side.
Volume 6 Chest 4
Head back to Nampo's Moodle Village, we'll need to sail back to the islands we've already visited, the first being Byukgye Island.
The chest will be on top of one of the buildings, the best way to get on the roof is by heading up the mountain via the nearby stairs.
Volume 6 Chest 5
Next you'll have to head over to Haemo Island, the chest is just on the cliffs.
You can't miss this one, but its a bit annoying to climb back up.
We'll need to get the first chest of volume 7 on Haemo island, so either climb back up to the main part of the island or swim around again
Volume 7
Don't worry, the new chests in this volume are red, so at least they're a little easier to see. Like Volume 6 we only need to get another 5.
Volume 7 Chest 1
Climb back up or swim around the island, you'll need to head over the bridge on to the last section of the island.
Right by the bridge there's a bunch of bamboo, the cliff should be fairly easy to spot.
Volume 7 Chest 2
For the next chest we'll need to head back over to Shimnidae Forest, right near the Bamboo Legion Lieutenant location.
Tucked under a structure made of bamboo is the chest, its pretty easy to spot, but the minimap will help locate it.
Volume 7 Chest 3
Head up over to Dokkebi Forest, you won't be able to path up to the waterfall, instead you'll have to climb.
Climb up these rocks but be careful not to fall, if you do, you're probably going to die.
You'll be able to drop down to one of the rocks, the chest is easy to see since its red.
Volume 7 Chest 4
You can autopath down to NPC Dokkebi Princess for the next chest, or if you've got a pegasus just fly down the waterfall.
Head past Dokkebi Princess and you'll see the chest sitting in the pool of water below.
Volume 7 Chest 5
For the last chest of Volume 7, its back over to Bari Forest, not too far from the main road will be another waterfall.
Here's a picture of what to look for, basically, you need to get down to the pool of water, the easiest way being a pegasus.
But the cliffs on the left side leading to the coast have a lot of ways to climb down as well in case you don't have one.
Once down there you'll see the chest perched on a rock in the pool of water, another volume done.
Volume 8
Don't worry, there's still more chests for us to find. This time we'll be fishing up the chests, the area for the fishing spots to work is a little picky.
Try to be as close to the screenshot positions as possible when doing this one.
Volume 8 Chest 1
This one is really easy to find, just head to the Imoogi shrine near Sangoon and the Wild Game Preserve.
Once you're on the platform, try to mimic the position that you see in the image below:
Volume 8 Chest 2
After fishing up the last chest, we need to head over to Nopsae's Byeot County. There's a river just on the edge of town that you'll need to head to.
Once you arrive at the river, cross over on to the rocks, then head down the first waterfall you come to.
You'll see a small set of rocks right near the waterfall, look for the small 'V' shape on the rocks next to my character to help find where to stand.
Volume 8 Chest 3
Track to NPC Princess Dokkebi for this next chest, the fishing spot is just close by.
Head back away from the NPC Princess Dokkebi and look for a small broken pillar with a platform barely above the water's surface.
Volume 8 Chest 4
Next up is the Hanji Shrine location, we've already been here before so it should be a little familiar.
On the second bridge look out towards the waterfall, this one's really easy to get.
Volume 8 Chest 5
This last one will have us sailing again, back to Byukgye Island. There's a small island off the coast of the larger island that you'll need to go to.
Once there, just point towards the main island and fish, this one is rather painless despite the sailing.
Volume 9
For Volume 9, we'll instead be looking for Dokkebi Goblins. The first goblin will award you with the +1 DP. If that's all you want, then you'll be finished after just the first one.
Make sure you complete Book 8 or the Goblins will not appear even in the correct location.
The second goblin will give +50 Max HP so that's worth considering too. The rest are Artisan Dokkebi workers.
These last Dokkebi Goblins are only available during the game's night time (10pm til 9am).
Volume 9 Goblin 1
For the first Goblin that awards the +1 DP, head over to the Cheongsan institute all the way up to NPC Haejoon.
Run past Haejoon over to the cliffside, you can see the balcony on the edge of the cliff, the Goblin will be easy to see, they're bright blue.
Here's an example of what they look like (they disappear after you complete the chapter)
Volume 9 Goblin 2
This next one is on the way to Nopsae's Byeot County, on a small island that you can get to by horse.
You can see on the minimap below where to head from the center of the island to make things easier.
This is the +50 Max HP one, the next are all just Artisan Workers.
Volume 9 Goblin 3
This one is actually in a location we've been before, there's a chest right next to the goblin.
You'll have to drop down again to talk to the goblin, but thankfully he's bright enough to be easy to see.
Volume 9 Goblin 4
Head up to Hanji County, towards the stone bridges again. After heading over the first stone bridge, walk over the island down the waterfall.
Carefully descend down the waterfall and the Goblin will be clearly visible.
Once you're down the waterfall the Goblin is just waiting on the edge of the cliffside over looking the water.
Volume 9 Goblin 5
Our last one will be another sailing trip. This time its back to Haemo Island. Put your auto path to the center of the islands.
As you come in towards the gap in the islands the water will get shallow, you'll be able to see the Goblin stood in the open.
That's it, with that all of the chapters are complete.
What did you think about running around the Land of Morning Light looking for chests?
I think this could've been some nice laid back side content if there were a lot less chests. Let us know what you think!
