Free Mythical Dream Horse

Introduction

All adventurers now receive a free Tier 10 Dream Horse as part of the BDO 10th Anniversary 

• Announced during the BDO FESTA, players have been given a free Mythical Dream horse as a gift
• You can choose which Mythical Dream Horse you'd like between Arduanatt, Doom and Dine
• Horses from this giveaway also already have all the skills unlocked at 100% at Level 1
• If you choose the Mythical Arduanatt, it will come in the white version, not the black and red colours. 

 

This version of Vipiko's Dreaming Horse is not an event item,it is a permanent addition to the game. 

Obtaining Your Mythical Dreaming Horse

To actually obtain all you have to do is login and access it, this gift is once per family for all adventurers as part of the BDO FESTA and 10 year anniversary gifts. 

 

To access it you can hit (Y) and you'll see the the reward "Embark with a Mythical Horse!" where you can claim it. 

 

 

You'll also be given some basic horse gear and some carrots to feed your horse, as previously mentioned, as soon as you select your horse it will have all of it's skills. 

 

While obtaining the horse is incredibly easy, hopefully this guide will help you to pick your horse and act as a public service announcement to those who are unaware of the giveaway!

 

Selecting Your Horse

There are three different types of Mythical horses available from the giveaway box and all of them have some pretty strong abilities with them being Tier 10 horses. 

You'll be given the option which horse to pick when you open the box, unlike the other dream horse giveaway there's no selection for gender for Tier 10 horses as they're genderless.  

 

 

Once you've made your selection, you'll be asked to write out which horse you want as part of a confirmation, just type in the words exactly as you see them to confirm your choice. 

 

 

Which Horse to Choose

It's the common consensus that most people should probably pick the Mythical Arduanatt if you don't already have one, since it's an all rounder with an amazing glide ability.

Mythical Arduanatt 

For a quick break down on the different horses without having to go off to a seperate more in depth guide, we'll go over a quick overview of each of the horses here as well. 

 

If you're picking the Mythical Arduanatt only the white version is available, not the black and red.

 

This is the standard Mythical Arduanatt that is not available from the Mythical horse free giveaway

 

This is the version given out in the free gift, usually it takes additional materials to unlock this version. 

 

This was probably done as it's highly likely Mythical Arduanatt will be the most popular choice, letting players who crafted their horses distinguish theirs from the gift versions. 

 

As mentioned previously, the Mythical Arduanatt is solid all around. It's plenty fast on land and its flying ability lets it travel in a straight line.

 

 

By jumping and using E in midair you'll glide, if you hit Q afterwards you'll rush forward, letting you gain even more distance. 

 

This lets you cover a good amount of ground, you can usually use this to jump over water like rivers or clear canyons which helps open up a lot of pathing options to save time if you're active. 

 

Mythical Doom

Doom is considered the fastest on land thanks to sprinting abilities. The Doom's appearance changes to black with blue flames instead of the usual black and orange. 

 

Unlike Mythical Arduanatt the Mythical Doom doesn't have any other options for it's appearance. 

 

Doom is also considered a strong mount for PvP, as it's triple sprint ability creates flames that deal damage and it has a few other attacks as well. 

 

 

Another unique aspect to Mythical Doom is that it can summon two clones of itself. The summoned Dooms can be ridden by the caster, guild/party members, or allies freely.

 

This is a really cool ability, but it's a little bit niche, especially as most adventurers will have their own horses - especially with all of these dream horse giveaways. 

 

Mythical Dine

The Dine switches it's desert sand theme to a new water based appearance, it's mane made entirely out of flowing water which is what most of the Mythical Dine's abilities are focused around.  

 

Dine changes from yellow sandy theming to a new water themed design as a Tier 10 horse.

 

Dine is a bit of an outlier when it comes to Dream horses, if you travel the desert a lot, it could definitely be a good option. It also has a triple jump and can negate fall damage for a time by hitting E while falling. 

 

Being a Tier 10 horse, the Mythical Dine is still fast, it's another great all rounder but it's unique gimmick is more niche than Mythical Arduanatt's. Dine has the ability to run on water. 

 

 

The Mythical Dine has it's own stamina bar for this and using skills like sprint and drift will consume the meter faster. You can use your triple jump to extend the duration of this. 

 

 

Simply land, triple jump, land and repeat. This lets you travel a lot longer across water and you can stop off at nearby islands to restore your Breath of Okiara meter.
