Install the app
Download the Windows installer and open it to install Garmoth App. Launch the app to begin setup.
Connect to Garmoth
Connect your Garmoth account in your browser, then return to the app. Your profile, prices, and server region come with you.
Find your game. Start tracking.
Open Black Desert and log in to a character. Follow the game-capture check, choose your optional features, and start a session from the dashboard.

Which operating systems are supported?
Garmoth App is available for Windows 10 and Windows 11. There are currently no macOS or Linux downloads.
Do I need a Garmoth account?
Connect a Garmoth account during setup to use your profile, region, and prices, and to submit completed sessions. The app opens the connection flow on garmoth.com in your browser.
What should I expect from the public alpha?
Features are experimental and reliability will vary as we test different ideas and approaches. Things may be broken, stop working after updates, or not work well at all. That’s normal during alpha. Loot recognition can also make mistakes, so review your detected loot before submitting a session.
Does the app break Black Desert’s Terms of Service?
Garmoth App is designed to respect Black Desert’s Terms of Service. It uses OCR (optical character recognition) to read text already visible on your screen, such as loot notifications and server buffs. It does not sniff network packets or intercept game traffic, control or modify the game, send inputs to it, or automate gameplay.
Does the overlay work in fullscreen?
Use Borderless or Windowed mode in Black Desert to see the desktop overlay. Exclusive Fullscreen does not support it. The optional OBS Browser Source works separately from the desktop overlay.
How do I update the app?
The installed app checks for updates and downloads them automatically. You can restart when an update is ready, or let it install when you quit. You can also check for updates in Settings.
