J's Hammer of Precision

Introduction

J's Hammer of Precision allows you to attempt an accessory enhancement without risk!

• Depending what accessory you are enhancing this can save you billions for an upgrade attempt
• While the hammer protects an item from risk it's still obviously RNG and can still fail to enhance
• Unlike regular J's Hammers, the Hammer of Precision can be sold or purchased on the Marketplace
• This item is only available for a set period but the requirements are reasonable to achieve 

 

Currently the item is only available to be claimed until November 27th 2024 so don't miss it! 

 

Obtaining the Hammer

To grab your J's Hammer of Precision, you can open your Rewards window (Y). Most people will probably already check off all the requirements to be totally honest. 

 

If you see the hammer in your Rewards window (Y) then all it means is that you haven't met all the requirements yet: 

 

 

To view the requirements in game, just hover over the text under the claim button and you'll be able to see how to obtain the hammer. 

 

 

As mentioned, a lot of players will already have completed these requirements anyway, so it should be instantly claimable for most people. 

 

This can only be completed once per family, which probably isn't too surprising for a item giveaway like this. 

 

Using the Hammer

Just head to the accessory menu like you normally would when attempting to upgrade an accessory. Now there will be an extra option similar to the way it works with regular J's Hammers. 

 

 

Make sure you've clicked the J's Hammer of Precision button, there will be a warning that comes up before using it: 

 

 

You don't want to accidentally raw tap an accessory, so make sure that you get the warning and the check box is ticked. 

 

Unlike with Cron Stones for accessories, the hammer also prevents drop in Enhancement level if the enhancement fails. 

 

 

Selling or Keeping the Hammer

The big thing about this hammer is that it can be sold on the Central Marketplace. Obviously, being able to use a hammer on end game accessories can be incredibly good. 

 

But because the hammer can be placed on the central marketplace for a pretty high price, selling it might be worth considering too. 

 

 

The amount of hammers on the board has to be considered if you decide to sell it, hold on to it or keep it for an accessory. 

 

Currently there's a lot of supply but because of the price of the item the demand seems more limited. 

 

It's also important to remember that the Central Marketplace takes a tax so you'll receive less silver, if you don't use a Value Pack then you'll lose 35% as tax. 

 

If you do use a Value Pack, you'll get a bonus 30% silver back after tax (Profit Silver x 1.3) which helps lessen the tax. 

 

If you don't have a Value Pack then I'd seriously recommend getting at least the 1 day version from the Loyalties store when collecting the sale profits. 

 

 

If you're an end game player with plenty of silver sitting around then obviously it'd likely be better to tap on a Deboreka accessory.

 

This can save billions in Cron Stone costs and it removes all possibility of the item degrading which could save you billions more as well.

 

 

The obvious downside to this is that RNG is RNG. You could click this tap and get nothing which is just something that needs to be considered when deciding if you'll keep or sell the hammer. 

 

For a newer player, it might be worth getting the instant injection of silver to a new account while upgrades are cheaper.

 

You can benefit from selling it more while silver per gear score is cheaper, or if you'd like to make a direct upgrade.
