Throne of Edana is a new style of PvP content thats unique to the Edania region
- Throne of Edana is a PvP setting that allows one person to win unique privileges in the Edania region
- Every sunday the lord of Edana must defend their title in a PvP battle against other adventurers
- The Edana priviledges include things like no karma loss in Edania and an increased drop rate buff
- The battles take place in a free for all style format in the different boss castles as you fight to become a lord
What Is Throne of Edana
Throne of Edana is a new type of PvP content that hopes to appeal to highly geared, end game players who want to prove themselves in PvP. This was added as the devs try to add meaningful PvP.
Becoming a Lord of Edania has priviledges which we'll go over later. This is was added after resistances have been removed from PvP so it's clear the devs are at least attempting to appeal to PvP end game players.

There can only be one Lord of Edana which makes it a really unique reward, because of this the player that becomes a Lord must constantly maintain this status through weekly PvP.
How Throne Of Edana Works

Throne of Edana is pretty basic other than it's participation rules. It's essentially a free for all PvP duel between 10 people who want to take the challenge to own the throne. You can't step out of the circle before the match starts.
Everyone who enters will have their name and family name changed to "Challenger" during the fight but you can see their level and class and the top of the screen:
If you die in the free for all, that's it, you're eliminated. You can either spectate or exit the match. If you exit you'll go back to your previous location.
The free for all fight can last for a maximum of 10 minutes, the winner is the last adventurer left alive. The winner will then be able to face the Edana unless there is currently no Edana.

The final challenger must wait at the designated location until 20:30. Then the battle to become Edana is a more simple 1v1 duel, which is in the best of 3 format.

You can only accept and complete one weekly quest per week. If you have already applied for the throne of one Edanian castle in a given week, you cannot apply for others that week.

The Edana Rising Token is bound to Family upon acquisition and is consumed upon use. The token has a validity period of 3 hours. It cannot be used after expiration.
After applying with the token, you may update your character's displayed AP & DP in the Throne of Edana UI until the 10 challengers are selected (Sunday 19:00).
