Elvia Upgrade Accessory Cups

Introduction

Add additional stats to your accessories by using craftable Elvia Accessory Upgrade Cups! 

• You can use different Accessory Upgrade Cups to empower your necklace, rings, earrings and belt
• The upgrade cups can be created through material drops obtained through grinding in Elvia spots
• There are a few different options but generally the choices are pretty straight forward
• The Accessory Upgrade Cups can also be bought and sold on the Central Marketplace as well

Using an Accessory Upgrade Cup

The Accessory Upgrade Cups are easy to use, there's no RNG or anything like that involved, it's just a set upgrade that can be applied to your gear. 

When you have an Upgrade Cup, just right click on it in your Inventory, this will open up your Black Spirit Transfusion UI where you can select your items:

Once you've reformed the gear, the Accessory Upgrade Cup effect will by applied to the piece of gear.  

Necklace Accessory Upgrade

The first and easiest to obtain Accessory Upgrade Cup is the Cup of Arid Moonlight. With its availability on the Central Marketplace, I'd strongly recommend just picking it up from there: 

For 270 million Silver you'll get an additional +150 HP, which is a really cost effective upgrade. It will also help you grind areas in Elvia if you'd like to grind there and you're just starting out. 

If for whatever reason you'd like to obtain the Cup of Arid Moonlight through crafting, or want to make them to sell on the marketplace, here's how to do it: 

Trace of Forest is readily available on the Central Marketplace, so you should have no issues grabbing some: 

The Heart of the Arid Forest will drop from Elvia Orc Camp and Elvia Castle Ruins.

Since Orc Camp is a really popular spot, the Cup of Arid Moonlight is usually always available on the market. 

Ring Accessory Upgrades

For the rings, there are two different options, you can choose a Cup of a Lonely Cloud or the Cup of Dwindling Starlight which are both good options. 

It comes down to personal preference, but most people tend to lean towards the +125 HP upgrade. It really just depends on if you want more survivability or more damage. 

Here's how to craft the different cups: 

Shard of the Tearful Night will drop at Elvia Swamp Fogans and Elvia Altar Imps.

Shard of the Furious Night will drop at Elvia Orc Camp and Elvia Castle Ruins. 

Shard of the Drained Night will drop at Elvia Swamp Nagas, Elvia Bloody Monastery and Elvia Biraghi Den. 

Shard of the Furious Night will drop at Elvia Orc Camp and Elvia Castle Ruins. 

Belt Accessory Upgrades

Like the rings, there are two options for the Belt upgrades, but the choices aren't as close. Most people run the Cup of Lone Tide for better survivability. 

Cup of Tragic Nightfall might seem enticing because its AP, but it's not sheet AP, it's hidden AP which you'll get plenty of with end game Magic Crystal builds.

Shard of the Furious Night will drop at Elvia Orc Camp and Elvia Castle Ruins. 

Heart of the Arid Forest will drop at Elvia Orc Camp and Elvia Castle Ruins. 

Shard of the Drained Night will drop at Elvia Swamp Nagas, Elvia Bloody Monastery and Elvia Biraghi Den. 

Shard of the Furious Night will drop at Elvia Orc Camp and Elvia Castle Ruins. 

Heart of the Arid Forest will drop at Elvia Orc Camp and Elvia Castle Ruins. 

Earring Accessory Upgrade 

Earrings only have one available option for an upgrade is Cup of Earth's Sorrows which provides +3 All AP, there's nothing to choose from, so here's the material list you'll need: 

Shard of the Tearful Night will drop at Elvia Swamp Fogans and Elvia Altar Imps.

Shard of the Drained Night will drop at Elvia Swamp Nagas, Elvia Bloody Monastery and Elvia Biraghi Den. 

Shard of the Furious Night will drop at Elvia Orc Camp and Elvia Castle Ruins. 

Elvia Marni Stones

To help you gather some of the needed materials, you can use Elvia Marni Stones obtained by NPC Wacky Toshi in Glish. 

Turning these in will allow you to gather some extra Elvia materials each time you grind, you can hover over the tool tips in the store to find out which materials you'll get when you exchange them. 

Removing or Extracting an Upgrade Cup

There's a free quest you can do if you just want to remove a cup from an accessory. You can do this by talking to NPC Lejenti at Glish. 

You're only able to accept the quest if you have an accessory that is already upgraded with a cup, just talk to Lejenti to start the quest line. 

Removing the upgrade from an accessory by using the quest will not give you the cup back.

Crafting the Extracting item

If you want to remove the Upgrade Cup but want the cup back, then you need to craft an item that will let you extract the Upgrade Cup.  

For the Fused Crystal of Emotions you can craft them or purchase them for 50 million silver at Wacky Toshi: 

If you want to craft them, which will be a lot cheaper, you're able to use one of each of the Elvia mats in order to make them. 

Once you've created a Refined Essence of Emotions you can take it to a blacksmith, then hit the extraction button. 

Once you click Extraction, click Extract Reform Stone, you'll then be able to remove the Upgrade Cup from the accessory.

This method will return the Accessory Upgrade Cup as well as the accessory unlike the quest.  

Kharazad Accessory Upgrade Cups

Like with other accessories, Kharazad Accessories can be enhanced by using reform stones. However, unlike other accessories, the upgrade cups used are unique. 

You are able to combine old accessory cups with newly added materials in order to craft the Kharazad versions:

Upgraded items can be extracted using the Extraction function of blacksmith NPCs in town with "Refined Essence of Emotions x1," just as before.
