Guaranteed Garmoth's Heart

Introduction

The Guaranteed Garmoth Quests were added to help meet the Garmoth's Heart Demand. 

• The quest line is once per family, meaning you can only obtain one Garmoth's Heart from questing
• You can work on these long term quests while attempting to Pre-order a Garmoth's Heart
• The price may end up more expensive silver wise and there's alot of grind in this questline 
• Since you'll need two hearts eventually this is a decent way to get one while waiting on preorders 

 

This is an alternative method to gain a Garmoth's Heart and should be considered a long term grind. 

Starting the Garmoth's Heart Questline 

Before you can start the Inverted Heart of Garmoth questline, you must have completed the Odylita main quest line Part 1. 

 

This is because you need knowledge on NPC Black Eyeroot to receive the questline from them.

 

The quest line will also require Turo Heart grinded at Tankuta, so at least 270+ AP is recommended.  

 

 

NPC Black Eyeroot is in the Crypt of Resting Thoughts, you can use the 'Find NPC' function to auto path to find their location. 

 

Since you will travel through the Crypt of Resting Thoughts it's not recommended to auto path here. 

Once you make it to Black Eyeroot, select the quest below: 

 

 

After taking the quest, you'll be given 14 different chapters to complete, they can be completed in any order. 

 

 

When you've completed all 14 chapters, you'll be rewarded with the Inverted Heart of Garmoth. 

 

Chapter 1 - Star's End's Artifact

This first chapter will have you complete the Star's End main questline for a quest item, the Fallen God's Ring. 

 

You can start the Star's End main questline by opening the quest window (O) 

 

 

The last quest of this quest chain will award you with the Fallen God's Ring. if you've already finished these quests, you can just turn in the Fallen God's Ring. 

 

 

Chapter 2 - Nouver's Reverse Scales 

For a lot of people, this is the deal breaker for this questline. Chapter 2 requires 400 Intact Nouver's Reverse Scales. 

 

This is the longest part of the questline, the items can only be obtained from defeating world bosses.

 

 

This is a good opportunity to also work on the Nouverikant Outfit if you're interested in it. We also have a guide for that right here!  

 

There is a way to earn some extra Intact Nouver's Reverse Scales through weekly quests, up to a maximum of 6 extra scales per week by defeating other world bosses. 

 

Speak to Shadow Arms Dealer NPC Blanca Tris at Dead Moon's Post, just west of O'draxxia, doing so will unlock the weekly quests and complete Chapter 13. 

 

 

The quests all consist of defeating other world bosses, if you've got alts with Season gear, it might be a good idea to park them at the world bosses.

Intact Nouver's Reverse Scales from Nouver and Bloodstorm Nouver have been increased to 5-7.

 

Chapter 3 - Pure Hunger 

For this chapter, you will need 70 Dark Spirit's Greed, you can obtain them from completing your Dark Rifts. 

 

 

If you've already gotten 70 Dark Spirit's Greed you can complete the chapter straight away. 

 

Chapter 4 - Immortal Power

This is the chapter that requires Turo Heart drops from Tankuta. Based on the information from our Grind Tracker, the current average Turo Heart drops is 5.7 per hour. 

 

 

To complete the chapter, you'll need 50 Turo Hearts so this one will be a bit of a time investment. Luckily the silver per hour at Tankuta is decent.

If you'd rather avoid grinding at Tankuta or just want this chapter completed quickly, you can also purchase the Turo Hearts from the Central Marketplace. 

 

 

Chapter 5 - Perfect Darkness 

Next up is another grinding quest, this time at Thornwood Forest. You'll need to obtain 1500 x Corrupt Turasil Darkness from the mobs at Thornwood Forest to complete the chapter. 

 

Thornwood Forest also has a Marni's realm, which can make grinding the area easier since you'll be uncontested. 

 

 

Chapter 6 - Breath of Nature 

This quest will have more grinding but this time it will take place in Kamasylvia. You'll need to obtain 30 of each Spirit stone fragments.

Chapter 7 - Endless Magic 

Next up is Dreighan drops, you'll need to craft 10 Hesed's Crystals, the crystals can be crafted using 11 Refined Black Energy Residue. 

 

In order to craft 1 Refined Black Energy Residue you will need to use 25 Black Energy Residue.

 

Black Energy Residue is obtained from defeating mobs in the Dreighan region. To craft the crystals, use the workshop at Duvencrune 5. 

 

 

You'll need the second level in order to craft Hesed's Crystals in the workshop. 

 

Chapter 8 - Latent Aura 

This is one of the more expensive chapters, it requires you to create Concentrated Boss's Aura which can be obtained by heating boss gear. 

 

The heating can only be done on base +0 boss gear, you'll need 5 pieces of boss gear and use heating (L) to obtain 5 Concentrated Boss's Aura. 

 

Chapter 9 - Honest Enhancement 

This is another silver / resource sink but can be one of the quicker chapters to complete. You'll need to obtain 100 Concentrated Magical Black Gem

 

The easiest way to do this is just to purchase them from the Central Marketplace if they're available. 

 

Concentrated Magical Black Gem can also be crafted using 5 Black Gems, 1 Sharp Black Crystal Shard and 1 Hard Black Crystal Shard

 

Chapter 10 - Hour of Purification 

Next up is another popular resource sink, you'll need 50 Magical Shards.

 

Thankfully this has been made much easier since the addition of Sealed Black Magical Crystals they can be obtained from most grind spots or purchased from the Central Marketplace. 

 

 

Chapter 11 - Barbarian's Couldron 

Yet another silver sink, this chapter asks for 1500 Alchemy Stone Shards. Again, its easiest to obtain these from the Central Marketplace.  

 

They can also be obtained by using Grinding (L) on Alchemy stones, however Spirit Stones can't be used for this. 

 

 

Chapter 12 - Crystal of Balance 

This is the biggest silver sink of the entire questline, you'll need to purchase 9 Cantarnia's Crystals. 

 

You can purchase Cantarnia's Crystals from NPC Francia, the Chief Librarian of Odraxxia, for 500 million each, totalling 4.5 billion for this chapter. 

 

She can be found in O'draxxia at the location below: 

 

 

Chapter 13 - Alliance and Cooperation 

The easiest chapter of all 14 quests, just talk to NPC Blanca Tris at Dead Moon's Post, just west of O'draxxia or south of the Rawr-Rawr world boss.

 

 

This should be done when starting Chapter 2, because Blanca Tris will provide the weekly quests for obtaining more Intact Nouver's Reverse Scales. 

 

Chapter 14 - Faith and Proof

This chapter just requires you to obtain Level 62 and talk to NPC Black Eyeroot to complete the chapter. 

 

If you're already Level 62, you can complete this chapter immediately.
