Edania Boss Event!

Introduction

With a new event players can experience easy mode versions of powerful Edania region bosses! 

• These versions of the bosses can be defeated even by new players using just full Tuvala gear
• The event will award you with 5 Edana pieces for defeating the bosses from all of the Edania Castles
• Edana pieces can be used for crafting and enhancing the new BIS Edana defense gear 
• You don't even need the Abyssal Well in the Edania region as the event quest line can teleport you to Edania!

 

Starting the Event Quest 

If you've already unlocked the Abyssal Well through doing Edania content, you can feel free to just teleport over to the region and begin the quest through the usual means. 

However, if you're a newer player who doesn't yet have the gear to take on Edania content or just a player who hasn't visited the region yet, there's a different questline you can start to teleport you over to Edania. 

 

 

This teleportation quest is only available if Abyssal Veins in outer Edania are deactivated, there's 6 quests in the chain in total, the first is the teleport one so don't worry about some long winded setup quest. 

 

 

Speak to the Black Spirit to find the quests, the quests are in the Event section, if you already have the Abyssal Wells activated in Edania then you can just teleport straight there and do the other quests.

 

The other five quests are just defeating the different bosses, you'll earn rewards for defeating each individual boss. If you're teleporting over there using the quest, head over to NPC Igor Bartalli in Velia.

 

 

After talking to NPC Igor Bartalli you'll be instantly transported over to Hakinza Sanctuary in Edania.

 

If you need to get back from the Edania region you can complete the quest with NPC Bahram to be teleported back to Velia. 

 

 

Bosses & Rewards

These quest versions of the bosses are incredible weak compared to the regular versions. It's a good chance to get to know their mechanics better because if you're geared they're pretty easy. These are the five bosses:

You should be fine to defeat the bosses with PEN Tuvala gear and if you don't know how to get to each castle or want to just use auto-pathing, you can auto-navigate to the boss locations through the quests. 

 

 

Be careful if you're a newer player or have less gear if you're auto-pathing because the cutscene will auto-play and the boss fight will start when you reach the quest location, so don't die while tabbed out! 

You'll gain the rewards from a defeated boss through the quests, so make sure you accept the rewards after completing the boss fight.

 

 

Here's a better look at all of the rewards you get per quest, the most important item from these is the easy pieces of Edana that are you used for Edana gear. If you need to know more about Edana gear, check out our guide!

 

These are the rewards you'll get from each of the quests once you defeat one of the weakened Edania castle bosses: 

The Piece of Edana can be used for Crafting or Enhancing best in slot Edana gear but if you're only at PEN Tuvala that'll be a long way out, still really good to have for the future though!
