Garmoth Gear Planner

Introduction

You can use our Gear Planner to optimize and plan your character progression!
  • Create full character builds that can be shared, optimized, copied and adjusted at any time
  • Track your journal progression, skill add-ons, consumables, artifacts and magic crystals!
  • Get a full break down of stats or potential stats, letting you see where you may need to improve
  • Check your accuracy and hitrate as well as Monster AP caps to help improve your money per hour

Our planner isn't just for combat, you can also create your own life skilling builds too!

Using the Gear Planner

If you haven't used our Gear Planner before, it's super simple. Just click on the gear icons to place your equipment.

You'll then be given a list of equipment options to choose from by using the drop down menus, which will let you set your gear however you like.

As mentioned this is super simple and doesn't need much explaining, but you can also create gear presets to help you track your progression.

As an example, if you're a new player and have just finished the season servers, you'll be able to create a second build to use for which items to upgrade next.

For example, upon hitting Level 61 you'll be given a TET Blackstar Weapon, which is an easy upgrade to track.

You can use this system to optimize your upgrade path, making sure that your next upgrade is most cost effective. To do this, you can check the right side of the planner and click the Silver button.

This will tell you just how much your upgrades will cost by increasing the total of your gear's Silver value, but there are more ways to change your stats than just gear.

We also have a list of all the journals that lets you increase your stats, you can also click each of the journals to select individiual chapters.

We also have an option for letting you input your crystals or play around with different presets and builds:

Creating a Magic Crystal preset will give you a more in depth breakdown of your Magic Crystals, with a full stat breakdown and silver cost.

Not only that, we also have a Skill add-ons section, so you can include those in your build as well, letting you have up to 50 different presets.

The last thing to mention for inputting a build is the cosumables section, this also lets you use different presets suitable for the content you're doing.

As you can see this section also includes a stat break down as well as a Silver per hour cost, this can be a really great way to make sure you're not overspending on consumables!

Stats and Breakdowns

On the right side of the screen you can see your stat breakdown, giving you a simple stat list but there are also a few other options as well.

By clicking the View My Stats button you can get a full breakdown that mimicks the my stats screen in game.

All of these different options for displaying and monitoring and checking different stats will make sense when we get to the comparisons.

By clicking on the different Life skill tools that are under the "View My Stats" button, you can get better breakdowns of your life skills as well.

Each one has a different table that you can use for breakpoints, showing how Mastery can effect your drops.

Here's another example using hunting, but all of the options will present you with similar life skill information:

By heading over to the left side of the screen and clicking "Character Info" you can also input more information about your Life skills.

This will then let you input all of your additional life skill details too, letting you adjust your Life skill mastery:

On the opposite end of the scale, there's also extra information for PvP, letting you view Node War or Seige caps to let you compare your gear and stats to the cap:

By clicking Skill Passives on the left side of the screen you can also add things like Guild bonuses and character passives that provide additional stats.

Comparison and Breakdowns

All of these stats and inputs all work towards giving you better comparisons, one of the comparisons that you can use is a gear comparison.

By clicking the Silver option you can compare the Silver cost, Caphras Stones and how much Marni's Fuel it would cost to tag the gear.

One of the reasons for this guide is to mention the PvE Hit Rate Calculator:

Hit Rate can really effect how much money per hour you can pull on your grind, if you feel like you may be pulling less than average then this might be one of the reasons why.

You can input different accuracy modifiers and the accuracy stat is pulled from the gear you've setup on the planner.

You're also able to change your gear from this page to see how it will effect your hit rates which is notable for midgame and end game spots.

The other section that can really effect your grind speed is Monster AP caps.

If you're too far away from the AP caps, you might need to adjust your setups with things like Magical Crystals, consumables, artifacts and Skill add-ons.

If you're far above the caps, you may want to change Monster AP out for other stats like Demihuman damage which can help clearing at certain areas.

All in all these are really useful tools to make sure you're getting the most out of your grind or how to progress next!

Speaking of progression, you can measure your progress towards next brackets using the Brackets section:
