- Primordial Weapons make use of crafting materials from the Land of the Morning Light content
Primordial Weapons can be crafted without completing the Land of the Morning Light main questline.
Sovereign Weapon Crafting Notes
There's a few things to consider when creating your new Primordial Sovereign Weapon:
- Only equipment that has not been upgraded with Reform Stones can be used to craft Sovereign weapons.
- You can purchase the Mirror of Equilibrium from blacksmith NPCs in major cities to extract Reform Stones.
- Reform Stones can now be removed from gear without having to remove Caphras Stones from the gear first.
- Crafted Sovereign Weapons cannot be registered on the Central Market.
- Crafted Sovereign Weapons cannot be enhanced using J's Hammer of Loyalty.
- Any branding effects from the original equipment will be removed when crafting a Sovereign Weapon.
- Make sure to remove Garmoth Hearts before converting weapons or you'll lose the heart.

When you craft a Sovereign weapon, you need to use weapons of the same type as the Primordial weapon you want.
- For example, to craft a Sovereign main weapon, you must use a main weapon as the material item. It doesn't give you a box to choose either Main or Awakening weapons.
The Sovereign weapon crafted will correspond to the character attempting the craft.
- For example, if a Warrior uses a PEN (V) Blackstar Longbow and a PEN (V) Blackstar Amulet as materials, a Sovereign Longsword will be crafted.
Crafting a Primordial Sovereign Weapon
The Flame of the Primordial and Gem of Twilight are new crafting materials added with the Land of the Morning Light Part 2, here's how they're used and how to obtain them.
These two items can be used to craft the new Primordial Weapons or you can use two PEN Blackstar weapons instead.
| [Sovereign Weapon Crafting Methods] 1. PEN (V) Blackstar weapon + PEN (V) Blackstar weapon
2. PEN (V) Blackstar weapon + Flame of the Primordial 3. (ex. If you want to craft a Sovereign main weapon using method 3, a PEN (V) Blackstar main weapon and a PEN (V) boss main weapon will be required.) |

Crafting Sovereign Weapon Location
To craft your Sovereign Weapon, you'll need to head to the Bonghwang Statue over at Mount Ahshi. It's close by to the Gyeongbokgung Palace, so it's not too difficult to find.

Here's a better look at the map to show where you need to go, it's at the base of the mountain:
Once you're there interact with the Bonghwang Statue, you'll be able to place the crafting materials in the statue and create your Sovereign Weapon.

Crafting the weapon doesn't require you to complete the main questline from Land of the Morning light. When you craft your weapon, a short cutscene will play.

Once you've finished the cutscene you'll be given your new weapon. Just make sure your weapon isn't tagged or you won't be able to craft the Sovereign weapon.

Primordial Light - Weapon Glow Effect
The Sovereign weapons have a unique golden glow effect called "Primordial Light" due to its Primordial grade energy.
| Example (Berserker) | Example (Sage) |

You can choose to toggle this effect on or off in your inventory, the weapon's glow can still be seen through cosmetic weapons as well.

The intensity of the glow changes depending on how high the Sovereign weapon has been enhanced:

Shai Primordial Artina Sol
Shai has its own unique set of weapons and this continues with the Sovereign weapons, the Primordial Glow Crystal enhances the Sunset Artina Sol.

- You can use the "Primordial Glow Crystal" to upgrade the Sunset Artina Sol to the Primordial grade.
- Sunset Artina Sol → Primordial Artina Sol
- Storm Devoured Sunset Artina Sol → Storm Devoured Primordial Artina Sol
- Fiery Sunset Artina Sol → Fiery Primordial Artina Sol
The Primordial Artina Sol, enhanced with the Primordial Glow Crystal, gains an additional effect of Extra AP Against Monsters +10. You can reforge it using a Reforge Stone to add extra effects.
| Item Name | Crafting Method |

|
Flame of the Primordial x1 + Magical Shard x20 + Sharp Black Crystal Shard x50 Heating (L) |

The Primordial Artina Sol is of the same Primordial grade as the Sovereign weapon and can be reforged with a Reforge Stone to add extra effects.
- When crafting the Primordial Artina Sol by upgrading the Artina Sol, the enhancement level of the previous Sunset Artina Sol is retained, and it can be enhanced up to PEN (V) level.
- The Primordial Artina Sol, crafted by upgrading the Artina Sol, cannot be used with Weapon Exchange Coupons or Item Copy, just like before.
- Primordial Glow Crystal cannot be registered on the Central Market.
- Primordial Glow Crystal cannot be extracted from the Primordial Artina Sol.
Reforging the Sovereign Weapon & Primordial Artina Sol
The Primordial Sovereign Weapons allow you to reforge extra stats on to them through reforging stones. The reforge stones can be obtained by defeating World Bosses that appear in the Land of the Morning Light.
Each Reforge Stone can be bought or sold through the Central Market. You can add a max of 5 reforge effects but each Reforge Stone's effect can only be added once per weapon.

Reforging the Weapons
The way you reforge the weapons is the same as any other reforge in the game, you just have to use the reforging UI when speaking to the Black Spirit.
Speak to the Black Spirit, select Item Reform and then you'll be able to add the stones that you'd like to your weapon:

Once 5 reforge effects have been granted, you can change them with different Reforge Stones. Reforge Stones used in reforging cannot be extracted only replaced with other stones.

You can see the stats of your reforged stones at the bottom of your weapon's stats, they're highlighten in a blue colour:

Enhancing the Sovereign Weapons
Just like with Fallen God gear, the Sovereign Weapons will start at +0 and then will be enhanced starting with PRI. For Primordial Weapons the enhancement level goes all the way to DEC.
| Enhancement Levels | ||||
| +0 (next level goes directly to PRI (I)) | ||||
| PRI (I) | DUO (II) | TRI (III) | TET (IV) | PEN (V) |
| HEX (VI) | SEP (VII) | OCT (VIII) | NOV (IX) | DEC (X) |
The Primordial Weapons also have their own unique Black Stones called Primordial Black Stones. You can obtain these stones by heating a Primordial Crystal with material items.
If the enhancement of a Sovereign weapon using a Primordial Black Stone fails, its max durability decreases by 20.
