Dahn's Glove

Introduction

The Dahn's Gloves is obtained through grinding materials, caphras and crafting

• Dahn's Gloves requires a Flame of Hongik, obtained from Land of the Morning Light Bosses 
• The gloves have the highest max DP out of any gloves piece making it the best in slot
• Dahn's Gloves can be enhanced from base to PEN to increase its stats like Fallen God
• Dahn's Gloves can be crafted into two versions, either DR gloves or Evasion gloves 

 

Unlike the Labraska Helmet or Fallen God Armour, Dahn's Gloves have their own unique appearance. 

 

 

Dahn's Gloves Stats and Comparisons

Here are the stats available for the Dahn's Gloves, as mentioned there is both a DR and Evasion version available for these gloves. 

To summarize, the Evasion gloves have more DP and less accuracy like Leebur's Gloves while the DR set has more accuracy like Bheg's Gloves.

The base stats of the gloves are relative to Caphras Level 10 Bheg's Gloves or Leebur's Gloves.The pair you obtain is based on the type of gloves you turn into Dahn's Gloves.

 

Here are comparisons to other end game gloves: 

 

First of all with Blackstar Gloves, it's not really recommended to use them due to costs and efficiency let alone push them to Obsidian for no benefit. 

 

Not that its common, but you also cannot use PEN Obsidian Blackstar Gloves to make the Dahn's Glove. 

 

You can use the Blackstar Gloves in order to craft the Dahn's Glove but the other two gloves are better options, they're cheaper to enhance and easier to obtain. 

 

Next is Bheg's Gloves which at C10 match the DR version of the Dahn's Glove, at C20 they'll only match a DUO Dahn's Glove.  

 

 

These are the best option for obtaining the DR version of the Dahn's Glove and probably the most used gloves anyway. 

 

Lastily are Leebur's Gloves which have more DP through Evasion but less accuracy than the other two options. 

 

 

Like with Bheg's, the Leebur's Gloves match Base at C10 and match DUO at C20, so there's no real stat advantage between the two gloves. 

 

You can use these if you want to grab the Evasion version of the Dahn's Glove. 

 

Dahn's Glove Requirements 

Like the other two pieces of gear obtained in this way, the Dahn's Glove requires a specific Flame item which can be crafted in a few different ways. 

 

By far the most cost and time effective way to obtain the Flame of Hongik is to purchase it off the Central Marketplace if they are available. 

 

 

This time the item is called the Flame of Hongik which has a few different ways to be obtained. 

 

How to Obtain

Flame of Hongik 1. Defeat any bosses in the Black Shrine and obtain according to a set probability (Adventure Log and Boss Blitz Reward)   OR   Craft using Heating (L) Embers of Hongik x500   To gather Embers of Hongik you can:   1. Defeat any bosses in the Black Shrine and obtain according to a set probability (Adventure Log and Boss Blitz Reward)   2. Exchange with Hyunyong of Nampo Moodle Village ( Crystallized Despair x1 → Embers of Hongik x2)     Use the Dokkebi Forest Excavation Node

 

Being able to exchange Crystallized Despair means that if you have 250 already or purchase them from the Marketplace you can create the gloves right away. 

 

It also opens Calpheon Elvia as a viable way for grinding out these gloves rather than being solely Land of the Morning Light content. 

 

 

You can check the marketplace to see how much this would cost, currently, using the picture above, 250 Crystallized Despair would be almost 10 billion. 

 

Much higher than the other flames but this method is also immediately available depending on marketplace stock. 

 

There is also a new currency that is used in the Land of the Morning Light called Sangpyeong Coins. 

 

 

You can exchange 500 of these coins to NPC Dohoon to receive 30 Embers of Hongik but this is limited to once per family. 

 

Quest Requirements

In order to be able to actually craft the gloves, you will need to have completed the Land of the Morning Light story main quests. 

 

Once you've done that, you'll have access to the one time family quest "[Dahn's Gloves] The Name We Miss Dearly, Mihyun!"

You'll need to complete all 13 chapters of the story, to check your progress you can open the Esc menu, 

 

 

Dahn's Glove Exchange Quest 

Like with other options in game like Godr-Ayed Weapons, the two different versions of the Dahn's Glove can be exchanged for one another by using a simple quest.

The only limitation on doing this is that you must hand over the 200 Scorching Sun Shard or 50 Crystallized Despair. 

 

Enhancing the Dahn's Glove

To enhance the Dahn's Glove requires a unique enhancement material that can be crafted using common enhancement materials. 

 

Flawless Chaotic Black Stones are used to enhance the Dahn's Glove. An enhancement failure will reduce the armor's maximum durability by 30.

 

Here are the materials for crafting a Flawless Chaotic Black Stone:

 

Sharp Black Crystal Shard	Mass of Pure Magic	Caphras Stone
x2	x1	x10

 

You can also craft the stones using the below:

To craft the stones using Heating in the processing window (L). Using Black Stone Powder x1 and 10x the recipe amounts will allow you to craft 10 Flawless Chaotic Black Stones.

 

Dahn's Glove takes alot of Cron Stones to enhance beyond PRI and enhancing has decently low rates. 

 

Generally its recommended to enhance the Dahn's Glove to DUO without using Cron Stones.
