Introduction

The Labreska's Helmet is crafted by using grinding materials, caphras stones and crafting

The Labreska's Helmet shares the appearance of the Black Star Armor, as seen above!

Labreska's Helmet Armor Stats and Comparisons

The item LabreskaLabreska's Helmet has the highest DP of any helmet, even after taking caphras into consideration.

The base Labreska's Helmet is relative to a C10 PEN Boss or PEN Blackstar helmet, but after being enhanced it will surpass both options.

Below are the DP stats of a C10 PEN Griffon's Helmet and a C20 PEN Griffon's Helmet:

Here are the DP stats of a C10 PEN Giath's Helmet and a C20 PEN Giath's Helmet:

When hitting TRI, the Labreska's Helmet has the highest sheet DP out of all the available options.

A PRI/DUO Labreska's Helmet is considered easier and less expensive to obtain than a C20 Boss helmet or a PEN Obsidian Blackstar Armor

The Labreska's Helmet does have to be enhanced through RNG however which means a PRI or DUO which is not guaranteed, unlike using Caphras Stones

Labreska's Helmet Requirements

You must be at least Level 56 and the exchanging character must have completed The Mountain of Eternal Winter questline in order to craft a Labreska's Helmet.

The quest name will depend on the helmet you decide to exchange for your Labreska's Helmet. You will also need a Flame of Frost

Which Helmet to Exchange

As there are three different helmet options that can be exchanged into Labreska's Helmet, you can choose whichever you'd like to convert, here's some information on the options.

The helmets from The Magnus, Seasonal Exchange or Jetina can be used for a Labreska's Helmet.

On most regions, a PEN Blackstar Helmet is nearly as expensive as buying a base Labreska's Helmet when comparing prices on the Central Marketplace. A Blackstar is by far the most expensive option.

A Giath's Helmet gives an extra +100 hp but this is generally considered as worse than the DR from the Griffon's Helmet but if you already have a Giath, it will work just fine.

A Giath's Helmet requires 7,224 Caphras Stones to reach C10

The Griffon's Helmet is the more popular choice with increased Damage Reduction, this is usually the go to option for most builds before creating the Labreska's Helmet.

A Griffon's Helmet requires 7,224 Caphras Stones to reach C10.

If you'd like a more detailed breakdown on the requirements of each Caphras Level for each helmet, check out our Caphras Calculator!

Obtaining a Flame of Frost

A Flame of Frost can be purchased of the Central Marketplace if you don't wish to grind for it. But there are three different locations in which you can obtain the necessary items.

A Flame of Frost is a single RNG drop, it's used along with the helmet of your choice to make the exchange for a Labreska's Helmet

Embers of Frost drop as a pity system, once you have 100 of these embers, you can use them to create a Flame of Frost by using the heating (L)

Jade Starlight Forest

One of the locations the flame can be obtained from is Jade Starlight Forest which has a 280 AP / 350 DP recommendation.

Jade Starlight Forest is a solo spot location, with a decent money per hour amount as well.

Jade Starlight Forest

The spot will drop two different items that can be used for crafting a Labreska's Helmet

This spot drops on average 1.9 embers per hour on average while a flame drops 0.017 an hour on average, so around once every 60 hours.

If you want a breakdown on Jade Starlight Forest's drops and their hourly average, why not try our Grind Tracker?

Murrowak's Labyrinth

Another of the Mountain of Eternal Winter spots that drop the flames and the embers is the Murrowak's Labyrinth grind spot.

The recommended gear for this spot is 280 AP and 350 DP. However, this area drops less of the needed

Embers of Frost on average, at only 1.1 per hour.

You can see more details of what to expect as average drops by using our Grind Tracker!

Erethea's Limbo

A more unique way to obtain the Flame of Frost and Embers of Frost is by entering Erethea's Limbo and completing Erethea's Trials.

The recommended gear for this is 250 AP for the easy difficulty and 290 AP for the harder mode. The harder mode will provide better rewards.

Erethea's Limbo is another location within the Mountain of Eternal Winter. The trials can only be entered by using a Forgotten Witch's Token.

The tokens are obtained by grinding in areas around the Mountain of Eternal Winter, though the drop rate is rather low.

Enhancing the Labreska's Helmet

To enhance a Labreska's Helmet requires a unique enhancement material that can be crafted using common enhancement materials.

Flawless Chaotic Black Stones are used to enhance the Labreska's Helmet. An enhancement failure will reduce the armor's maximum durability by 30.

Here are the materials for crafting a Flawless Chaotic Black Stone:

Sharp Black Crystal Shard

Mass of Pure Magic

Caphras Stone

x2

x1

x10

You can also craft the stones using the below:

Flawless Magical Black Stone

Caphras Stone

x1  x10

To craft the stones using Heating in the processing window (L). Using Black Stone Powder x1 and 10x the recipe amounts will allow you to craft 10 Flawless Chaotic Black Stones.

Labreska's Helmet takes alot of Cron Stones to enhance beyond PRI and enhancing has decently low rates.

Generally its recommended to enhance the Labreska's Helmet to DUO without using Cron Stones.

To see the rates of enhancing a Labreska's Helmet then you can use our Enhancing Simulator!
