Fallen God's Armor

Introduction

The Fallen God Armor is obtained through grinding materials, caphras and crafting

• Fallen God's Armor requires a Flame of Despair, obtained at the Tankuta grinding spot
• Fallen God's Armor has the highest max DP out of any chest piece making it the best in slot
• Fallen God's Armor can be enhanced from base to PEN to increase its stats 
• Fallen God's Armor is usually crafted using a C10 PEN Boss armor chest piece

Fallen God's Armor Stats and Comparisons

The Fallen God's Armor has the highest DP of any chest armor, even when taking caphras into consideration. 

 

However to be better than the alternatives such as a C20 Boss armor, the Fallen God's Armor would also need to be enhanced.

The base Fallen God's Armor is relative to a C10 PEN Boss or PEN Blackstar armor and will have to be enhanced to be superior. 

 

Below are the DP stats of a C10 PEN Dim Tree Spirit's Armor and a C20 PEN Dim Tree Spirit's Armor:

 

And the Blackstar Armor and Obsidian Blackstar Armor that has less sheet dp than a C20 Boss armor

 

 

As you can see from the above, by TRI, the Fallen God's Armor has the highest sheet DP. 

 

The PRI and DUO Fallen God's Armor are also considered easier to obtain than a C20 Boss armor or a

PEN Obsidian Blackstar Armor. 

 

However as they are enhanced through RNG, getting a PRI or DUO is not a guaranteed unlike simply using Caphras Stone.

Fallen God's Armor Requirements

You must be at least Level 56 in order to accept the quest required to craft a Fallen God's Armor.

 

The quest name will depend on the armor you would like to exchange. You will also need a

Flame of Despair

The quest can be obtained from NPC Dorin Morgrim, who is located within the mines at Helm's Post in the Mediah region.

 

 

Make sure to remove magical crystals from the armor so that you may complete the exchange. 

 

Which Armor to Exchange

As there are three different options that can be exchanged into Fallen God's Armor you are able to make a choice on which you'd like to use. PEN: Blackstar Armor, PEN: Dim Tree Spirit's Armor C10 or PEN: Red Nose's Armor C10 . 

 

The armor from The Magnus, Seasonal Exchange or Jetina can be used for a Fallen God's Armor.

 

	PEN: Blackstar Armor Is usually not the not the best option, and is most likely also the most expensive. Enhancing it yourself is definently the worst option here and will most likely cost you a lot more compared to the other armors.
	PEN: Dim Tree Spirit's Armor (C10) is a decent option if you are planning on keeping the Dim Tree armor for a while, because it provides better stats (+200HP) than Red Nose's Armor, but it is also gonna cost more, because PEN: Dim Tree Spirit's Armor cost more Caphras Stone to get it to C10 (1.036 more).   Need 8.260 Caphras Stone for C10
	PEN: Red Nose's Armor (C10) is generally the best option. The armor might cost a little more than Dim Tree Spirit's Armor, but it requires less Caphras Stone to level it to C10 (1.036 less).   Need 7.224 Caphras Stone for C10

There's also the option to simply buy the Fallen God's Armor from the Central Market which will in most regions be the cheapest. The bad thing about this is you won't have your name imprinted on the armor, but someone elses.

 

Obtaining a Flame of Despair

A Flame of Despair can be purchased of the Central Marketplace if you don't wish to grind for it.

 

If you'd like to grind for it instead, the flame can only be obtained as loot from Tankuta which has a 270 AP / 320 DP recommendation. 

 

Tankuta is a duo party spot location, with a decent money per hour amount as well. 

 

 

The spot will drop two different items that can be used for crafting a Fallen God's Armor. 

 

A Flame of Despair is a single RNG drop, it's used along with the armor of your choice to create the Fallen God's Armor

 

Embers of Despair drop as a pity system, once you have 100 of these embers, you can use them to create a Flame of Despair by using the heating (L)

 

The spot drops on average 3.8 embers per hour, while a flame drops 0.039 an hour on average, so around once every 25 hours.

Enhancing the Fallen God's Armor 

To enhance a Fallen God's Armor requires a unique enhancement material that can be crafted using common enhancement materials. 

 

Flawless Chaotic Black Stones are used to enhance the Fallen God's Armor. An enhancement failure will reduce the armor's maximum durability by 30.

 

Here are the materials for crafting a Flawless Chaotic Black Stone:

 

Sharp Black Crystal Shard	Mass of Pure Magic	Caphras Stone
x2	x1	x10

 

You can also craft the stones using the below: 

 

Flawless Magical Black Stone	Caphras Stone
x1	x10

 

To craft the stones using Heating in the processing window (L). Using Black Stone Powder x1 and 10x the recipe amounts will allow you to craft 10 Flawless Chaotic Black Stones.

 

Fallen God's Armor takes alot of Cron Stones to enhance beyond PRI and enhancing has decently low rates. 

 

Generally its recommended to enhance the Fallen God's Armor to DUO without using Cron Stones.
