Introduction
Star of Nostos is a new treasure item that can be obtained from Gathering Life Skill activities
- Obtained materials from the different Gathering methods can be processed into higher-tier materials
- You can then craft the Star of Nostos by combining six of these higher-tier processed materials
- When equipped at your campsite, the Star of Nostos lets you instantly teleport to your residence or manor.
- You can then use the Star of Nostos to return to where your campsite was placed again
Star of Nostos
A new treasure has been added after a mysterious power has been discovered. You can make the Star of Nostos with six essences of nature, you can then use it to teleport back to your residence or manor from your camp.
The intended use for this is to help people have some extra utility, such as when you reach your weight limit while Gathering, organizing your inventory or rebuffing furniture buffs from your home. You can then teleport back to camp.
The materials needed for crafting the Star of Nostos are all obtained through Gathering. This is great for people who like Gatherering Life Skills as it lets them earn more since these materials can be traded on the Central Market.
The devs also increased the amount obtained for various materials and special gatherables that previously felt somewhat lacking, improving the overall profitability of Gathering.
To use the Star of Nostos, install your campsite and equip the Star of Nostos to it like in the image above, the item can only be equipped while you are near your installed campsite.
You can then press the Star of Nostos icon in the Campsite UI to view your list of residences and manors.
- Using this feature triggers a 30-min cooldown, which is tracked per character.
- The cooldown continues to decrease even while logged out.
- You can only initiate the move while near your installed campsite.
- This function can be used while on a mount, but the mount will not be moved with you.
- You cannot move to a manor if the rental period has expired.
- It cannot be used during Node/Conquest Wars or War of the Roses.
- Exiting the residence or manor will return you to the location of your installed campsite.
- If you exit the game or change characters, the campsite is automatically packed up, and your character returns to the location where Star of Nostos was used.
- Even if you pack up your campsite while inside a residence or manor, you will still return to the original campsite location upon exiting.
- Added a title reward called "Back Home Again" for completing a quest from Chief Valentine in Florin while possessing Star of Nostos.
How to Craft the Star of Nostos
As mentioned, you can now gain special crafting materials from each Gathering method, these items can be traded via the Central Market (Max Price: 3,000,000 Silver) or Items can be sold to NPC Shops for 1,000,000 Silver each.
Gathering Mastery effects for "Rare Resources Drop Rate/Quantity Increase" will apply. The Special Skill "Gathering Quantity Increase" from certain pets, such as Hedgehog, will apply.
