DEC Tuvala Gear

Introduction

Tuvala weapons and accessories can now be enhanced all the way up to the DEC enhancement level!   

• This new DEC Tuvala gear allows you to create gear with stats similar to Blackstar and Kharazad gear 
• A DEC Tuvala Weapon and DEC Tuvala accessory can be converted to a Blackstar and Kharazad accessory
• You'll need to graduate or have a character with a Seasonal Graduation Cap to start the questline
• The PEN Blackstar weapon obtained in this way can also help you to obtain a Sovereign Weapon 

DEC Tuvala Stat Examples 

The DEC (X) Tuvala gear stats are similar to that of end game gear Blackstar and Kharazad accessories. Here's the stats of a DEC Tuvala weapon vs a PEN Blackstar: 

While there is slight differences, the weapons are close enough. Though the main reason to craft a DEC Tuvala weapon is to convert it into a PEN Blackstar via a quest which we'll go over later. 

The same applies to the DEC Tuvala accessories, the stats match those of a TET Kharazad Accessory and they can be converted to Kharazad accessories too. 

Starting the Quests

In order to start the quests to push your Tuvala gear past PEN, you'll need to have graduated from the season server. 

You will also need a Season Graduation Cap in your character's inventory when speaking to the Black Spirit.

Speak to the Black Spirit and look for the quest "[Leveling Aid] Fughar's Aid" in the general quest tab which will lead you to speaking to Fuhgar.

Once you talk to Fuhgar, you'll see he has some new quests to you all labelled [Leveling Aid], these new quests have been added to help you progress after graduation.

As a quick summary, one quest will give up to 3000 Caphras Stones by filling up Marni stones (Defeating monsters), and another will let you push Tuvala past PEN.

The items will let you upgrade your PEN Tuvala to HEX (VI) which you can then upgrade up to DEC, as mentioned you'll need to be on a non-seasonal character for this. 

The upgrade stones also come with a good number of Advice of Valks to help you with the process of hitting your PEN Tuvala all the way up to DEC.

After you've made your DEC Tuvala gear you can swap them to the Blackstar or Kharazad equivalents by completing the follow up quests. 

Enhancing Tuvala Gear 

In order to enhance your Tuvala Weapon past HEX (VI) actually requires more standard enhancing materials, 

HEX (VI) to SEP (VII) is pretty forgiving because there's no chance of a downgrade, but can be pretty expensive in terms of Concentrated Magical Black Stones. 

For the Tuvala Accessory, you'll need the newer Essence of Dawn for enhancing, but there's no failure chance which is always nice. 

A popular way to make the Essence of Dawn needed to DEC your Tuvala Accessory is to melt your PEN Jetina accessory for 100 Essence of Dawn, but there are more ways to obtain it.

If you don't need the "Essence of Ascent - Accessory" for TET (IV) Kharazad accessories, you can process it into Essence of Dawn x30 using Heating (L)
