Olvia Academy - Alchemy

Introduction

Olvia Academy will teach you the basics of Alchemy with some amazing rewards!

• The Alchemy course gives you 1000 Cron Stones and some great starter gear!
• There's also an Olvia Academy Pass that gives bonus Life Skill Exp for the course you work on
• Alchemy is a Life Skill that you can AFK during production making it good for down time
• Olvia Academy gives a lot of Exp and levels as well as teaching you the basics!

 

Starting the Gathering Course

If you haven't tried any of the Olvia Academy courses yet, it's really easy to get started. You'll need to have graduated from the Season Server and be at least Level 60 to join the academy's classes. 

 

You'll get rewards just for signing up in the form of an Academy Outfit and some Olvia Academy coins which have some nice rewards as well, for more information on how the Olvia Academy works, you can check out our guide here: 

 

Starting any of the Olvia Academy courses is easy, just visit NPC Emma Bartali at the front desk of the academy, or just click the green Olvia Academy UI in the top right of the screen, you can then auto navigate to the instructor!

 

Completing the Alchemy Course

For your Alchemy professor, you'll have NPC Eileen as your instructor. Before you start the quest though, there is some information that you can check out in the Chat section.

 

Most courses do this, it's a way to front load information without having you quest through every single aspect of the Life Skill, so if you're new and curious, check out the topics available. 

 

 

The first few quests are just talking, telling you information about the Life Skill. The first actual quest you'll need to do is connecting the Coastal Cave - Copper Ore Mining node. 

 

This is really easy, the Coastal Cave node is close to Velia, you can click on the node on the world map if you have a Value pack to invest the contribution points. 

 

 

When you've done this you'll be finished the quest, we're already making progress through the Alchemy course! You can also collect the experience from the Olvia Academy Academy Pass. 

 

This will give you some extra Life Skill levels and rewards, be sure to keep checking in on the pass as you make your way through the course.

 

 

There's also "Family Rewards - Life Skill" in the bottom left corner in the Olvia Academy UI window, this has some more rewards for you to collect through the duration of the course. 

 

If you're not interested in Life Skills then you'll be able to sell all of these rewards from the pass and the Family Rewards for Alchemy will be worth over 1.5 billion silver. 

 

Now that you've connected the node, you'll be on to the first Alchemy production quest. To complete this quest, you'll need to head over to NPC Zaaira to be provided with some ingredients. 

 

We'll be using these ingredients to craft some Clear Liquid Reagents, you can do this by heading over to the Shared Alchemy tool. You can auto navigate to it from the quest after talking to Zaaira. 

 

 

If that doesn't work, it's close to NPC Eileen, it's in the same room as her. You'll need to hit R on the Alchemy tool which will have the Alchemy production window pop up. 

 

To create the Clear Liquid Reagents you'll need to place in 1 of each of the ingredients that Zaaira provided then select Batch Production. You'll want to craft 100 of them. 

 

 

Salt x1, Sunrise Herb x1, Purified Water x1 and Wild Grass x1

 

You can speed up the Alchemy production with a Stella's Spirit Stone given to you in the Season Pass from a Seasonal Character, or from the Olvia Academy Gathering course. 

 

You can also use a Verdure Draught just to help speed things along as well, even shaving a few seconds off each item production helps. Here's our guide for the Gathering course if you need it! 

 

 

After that, we'll be repeating the process of the last quest. Head over to Zaaira again for some more materials then we'll be making another Alchemy product. 

 

Sugar x1, Silver Azalea x1, Purified Water x1, Wild Grass x1

 

The next quest is a bit of a chat with Eileen, she'll tell you about how you can get lucky with Alchemy production where you'll receive different material byproducts or higher grade materials from production.

 

Pure Powder Reagent x1, Fox Blood x5, Hp Potion (small) x3, Silver Azalea x3 

After this, Eileen will explain about Imperial Alchemy, the quest will ask you to package 10 Apprentice's Medicine Box, all you'll need to do is place 9x Elixir of Life into the Imperial Alchemy window. 

 

 

After you're done packing the Apprentice's Medicine Box you'll need to take it to the Imperial Crafting Delivery NPC in Olvia, the quest will usually let you auto-navigate there, if not, here's the map. 

 

Talk to Lotz Pavarotti and click the Imperial Crafting Delivery button, here you'll be able to see a trade layout with your goods in the top right corner to sell. 

 

 

The next few quests repeat the process of visiting Zaaira and then just producing the Alchemy products, since you're now familiar with how this process works, I'll just add the recipes. 

 

Legendary Beast's Blood x1, Arrow Mushroom x5, Powder of Darkness x2, Birch Sap x5

 

Sinner's Blood x1, Powder of Flame x2, Silver Azalea x6, Ash Sap x4

Elixir of Swiftness x3, Worker's Elixir, Elixir of Time x3, Tears of the Falling Moon x1, Simple Alchemy (L) 

 

This one will require you to make an additional elixir before producing it, you'll need to make the Elixir of Time, the recipe is available in the quest description, or, you can just buy it from the Marketplace. 

 

Once you're done, all that's left is to head back to Eileen and type "Olvium Frontia!" in the general chat and the Alchemy course is complete!
